Nestled along over 200 feet of Kangaroo Lake waterfront, the six cottages of Sunset Shores Resort provide just what you are looking for: a quiet, clean, relaxing vacation.

Our resort has a large green space for social gatherings and a lovely fire pit. We have updated the free WiFi throughout the resort. The update allows our guests to stream their favorite shows on rainy days on multiple systems at the same time.

Indoors, all the homes are clean, charming, heated, have full kitchens, and bathrooms with showers. The kitchens are equipped with stoves/ovens, full size refrigerators, coffee makers, toasters and microwave ovens. Each cottage has a personal WiFi password for internet, and for streaming TV and music. Bring your own login credentials for your favorite streaming sites and set them up on our Roku Ultra. DVD’s are also available for movie watching. Bedding and bath towels are also provided.

Outdoors, you will find grills, picnic tables, and lawn chairs at your disposal. The resort has a new aluminum pier with a bench, deck, and a floating raft… with a public boat ramp only steps away! Strings of patio lights, illuminate the common area in the evening.  A large fire pit overlooking the lake is perfect for meeting guests, making s’mores, and special family bonding time.  A wooden swing set and sand box complete the large common area.
